Privacy Notice (GDPR)
Bristol Piano and Keyboard Lessons is a data controller under General Data Protection Regulation. This privacy notice explains what personal information is collected and how it is processed.

Legal basis:
The purpose of collecting your personal data is for administration of the contract (i.e. the running of the lessons) and the legal basis is Art 6 1 (b) of GDPR.
The personal data collected:
- Where the pupil is an adult:
- Name; address; contact telephone number; email address;
- Where the pupil is child:
- Name and Date of Birth of the pupil
- Name; address; telephone number; email address of the person with parental responsibilities
Storage of the data:
The signed agreement will be kept securely in a locked box.
The digital contacts information will be kept on google contacts. All electronic devices accessing personal information are passcode/pass pattern protected.
All the information (paper and digital) will be kept for up to a year after the pupil finishes all lessons, and then it will be deleted, and paper copy destroyed.
The information is kept within EU all the time.
Sharing:
The personal information is not shared with anyone else.
When a pupil wants to attend an exam, pupil’s personal information will be provided to the examining board.
Marketing:
You will never be contacted for marketing purposes.
Subjects Rights:
- You can request to see your personal information at any time. (Art 15 GDPR)
- If the data we store for you is incorrect, you can request to be updated. (Art 16 GDPR)
- You have a right your information to be erased. (Art 17 GDPR)
- You have a right to restrict some of the processing (Art 18 GDPR)
